Difference between dry and wet mixer grinder

In general, dry grinding uses particle-on-particle impacts to reduce size, while wet grinding involves dispersing the raw material in a liquid and circulating the resulting slurry to smash particles against solid grinding media to reduce their size. Wet grinders are used to make pastes from grains and lentils, such as those used in cooking dosas and idlis in South Indian cuisine. Wet grinders can also be used for various types of grinding applications like pulping of vegetables for the soups, making different types of chutneys, shakes and preparing different types of batters. Dry grinders are best for grinding spices, nuts and other hard ingredients which are widely used in Indian cuisine. Amplifii Plus offers multiple options of mixer grinders which have both dry and wet grinding jars which provides a complete solution for your cooking needs.
